It is Christmas time! We have been busy trying to keep up with 4 kids. I can honestly say it has been a great year!
Megan celebrated her 1st birthday last month. We did a Wizard of Oz theme since she was Dorothy for Halloween. She started walking just before her birthday and now there is no stopping her. She does her best to keep up with big brothers. She is very quiet unless it is time to eat. She continues to have Daddy and brothers wrapped around her finger.
Owen, “the bear”, is now 2. He is full of energy and tears up anything in his path. He is proving to be a very stubborn boy that doesn’t always learn his lesson the first time. He is a very hard worker and never misses a chance to help Mommy with chores. He is a boy of few words but is trying to talk more. He constantly carries a notebook and crayon so that he is always ready to find Blue’s Clues.
Hudson is almost 5. He started preschool in September and loves it. He would do homework all day long if we let him. He loves to read and do math. He also enjoys learning Spanish. This month he received his white-belt which is the highest rank in the Little Dragons Program. He will be moving up into the Black Belt Club Program after the first of the year.
Ethan is almost 8 and currently in the 2nd grade. He is the child that likes to be involved with everything. He always has a full social calendar. He is still active in Karate. In September he received is red-black belt. This belt introduced the weapon, Kamas. Now the real work begins as he starts conditioning and training for his black belt. He is on track for the black belt test in the spring.
Matt has spent a lot of time in Cleveland for training. In May, he was there for general x-ray training. He just returned from a 3 week trip for Cath lab training. He enjoys the classes but would be happier if they were in a new location. He has seen all the sights of Cleveland now. In October we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. We were able to spend 5 days in beautiful San Francisco. It was a great time and just what I needed to relax before the busy holiday season. For updates throughout the year you can always find pictures and funny stories here or my other blog Marisa 4.0.
